We invest in our employees and the communities TD serves in many meaningful ways:

Recruitment initiatives that focus on reaching the broadest possible talent by building awareness and relationships with well-respected regional and national organizations that serve diverse groups.

Mentoring tools and programs, including ones for new immigrant employees in Canada, women in leadership, employees who identify as LGBTA and members of visible minority groups.

Leadership programs built on a solid foundation of diversity and inclusion training.

Employee networks, developed to help employees from diverse backgrounds stay current on networking opportunities, customer products, services and programs targeted to diverse groups, including community activities, donations and volunteer opportunities. Over 6,000 employees were active in the following networks:
- People With Disabilities Network;
- Aboriginal Employee Circle (Canada)
- Minorities: Black, Chinese, Hispanic, Korean and South Asian Community
- LGBTA Pride Networks; and
- Women in Leadership Network.

Opportunities for staff to share ideas and experiences, helping shape TD’s diversity and inclusion strategy.

Over 50 networking events every year, including employee receptions for Black History Month, Chinese New Year and Pride, as well as Disabilities Awareness, Enrichment events and Access Awareness forums.
