  We strive to be the bank of choice for diverse communities. Our priority is to be fair, diverse and inclusive, with a workforce that reflects the communities we serve. This is a key part of ensuring that the TD of tomorrow is even stronger than the TD of today.

    TD champions diversity and inclusion in the workplace, for our customers and in our communities.

    In Canada, we direct at least 10% of the bank’s community giving to diversity related causes. Here we highlight some examples.

    TD contributes to a wide range of festivals and events that celebrate the cultures of many countries. The TD IRIE Music Festival is one example.

  • 

    Another example is the TD Festival of South Asia. This event features entertainment and cuisine reflecting Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi and Sri Lankan cultures.

    TD honours the contributions of members of the Black community to Canada by proudly sponsoring the Then & Now series of cultural events.

    This celebration of Black History Month, showcases 12 visual arts, performance and cinematic events for the entire family.

    We know that advancing diversity and inclusion in the community takes more than funding.

    We connect TD employees with community organizations, to volunteer for causes that they are passionate about.

    TD is a long-time supporter of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community.

    Our commitment is demonstrated through sponsorship and employee participation in 15 Pride Festivals in Canada and the U.S.

    TD is committed to helping new immigrants. ACCES Employment helps recent immigrants build careers in Canada.

    Last summer, 30 TD executives spent an afternoon sharing advice about creating an effective resume, preparing for interviews and transitioning into the Canadian workforce.
