We are helping to advance anti-bullying and anti-discrimination campaigns, such as those run by Jer’s Vision. This innovative organization stands up for justice and fairness through workshops and presentations that address bullying, homophobia, transphobia and discrimination in schools and youth communities
TD provides funding to the Ali Forney Center, which promotes awareness of the plight of homeless LGBTA youth in the U.S., with the goal of generating local and national action to provide safe shelter

At TD, we are committed to creating an inclusive and welcoming workplace for LGBTA employees. We are very proud of the fact that TD was recognized as one of America’s Best Places to Work for LGBTA employees by the Human Rights Campaign, the largest civil rights organization in the U.S. focused on lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBTA) equality.
We also organize annual employee Pride receptions in communities across North America, hosted by various members of our senior executive team, including President and CEO, Ed Clark. More than 2,000 employees and community partners have celebrated at employee Pride receptions.
In our on-going efforts to provide a respectful and inclusive work environment for all employees, TD developed Workplace Gender Transition Guidelines for both Canada and the U.S. The guidelines are intended for employees who identify as transgender, their co-workers, people managers and HR representatives. It covers best practices, terminology and planning for a transition in the workplace. These best practices are followed throughout our operations in North America. Our goal is to create a more comfortable experience for employees and customers.
